Dat Bike Warranty, Maintenance, and Return Policy
Dat Bike is always committed to delivering the best possible service to customers. To ensure the best experience when purchasing a vehicle, please read through Dat Bike’s warranty, maintenance, and return policies.
I. Warranty Policy
Dat Bike is responsible for warranty coverage against defects in materials and/or manufacturing under normal usage and maintenance conditions.
1. Applicable Customers
Customers/consumers who purchase vehicles from the website www.dat.bike, Dat Bike’s Facebook page, online channels, and Dat Bike stores listed on the website here.
2. Warranty Coverage
Dat Bike is committed to repairing or replacing parts/materials with manufacturing defects, or updating control software in the event of a software-related issue.
Dat Bike will collect old parts after they have been replaced with new parts under the warranty policy.
Parts used during the warranty process are genuine components supplied by Dat Bike.
3. Battery Warranty
For damages or issues related to the battery and related components, the warranty policy will apply in the same way as it does to other vehicle components.
For cases of battery degradation, Dat Bike will only repair or replace the battery if the level of degradation exceeds the natural level of battery degradation over time under the Customer’s normal usage conditions. The final decision shall be made by Dat Bike, including whether to repair or replace the battery.
Note:
If the vehicle meets the warranty conditions — still within the warranty period and not falling under any of the exclusions in Section 6 — and the battery capacity is below 70%, the Customer has the right to request a battery replacement.
Battery warranty includes: battery cells, BMS circuit, battery connecting wires, and battery sensors.
4. Warranty for Parts and Accessories
Dat Bike only supports the repair and replacement of original components for each vehicle model as delivered from the factory. Dat Bike does not support the replacement of components from one model to another or the use of components outside Dat Bike’s product system.
The warranty period for parts and accessories is 90 days from the date the Customer receives the product. For batteries purchased as spare parts, the warranty period is 1 year from the date the Customer receives the product.
Parts or accessories replaced during the warranty process under the replacement warranty policy shall not incur any additional cost to the Customer. The warranty period for these parts or accessories will follow the remaining warranty period of the vehicle.
Parts and accessories paid for and installed by the Customer due to natural wear and tear shall not be covered under warranty, even if the vehicle is still within the warranty period.
Warranty for parts and accessories purchased by the Customer only applies to technical defects caused by the manufacturer. Damages not resulting from technical defects, or caused by improper use by the Customer, shall not be covered under warranty.
All other terms and conditions related to warranty shall follow Dat Bike’s vehicle warranty policy.
For safety reasons, all components replaced, repaired, or maintained in relation to the battery, circuit, or motor shall not be returned to the Customer.
5. Vehicle Warranty Period
The warranty period is 3 years or 30,000 km, whichever comes first.
The warranty period is calculated from the date stated on the invoice issued by Dat Bike to the Customer.
Vehicle warranty information and history are stored in Dat Bike’s system and will be provided to the Customer upon request. Dat Bike does not provide a physical warranty booklet.
6. Vehicle Warranty Scope
The warranty is valid throughout Vietnam and is only applicable and performed at Dat Bike’s official stores.
In provinces or cities where Dat Bike does not have an official store, Dat Bike will support the transportation cost to bring the Customer’s vehicle to the nearest warranty station and return it to the address provided by the Customer.
Warranty work is performed free of charge in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions.
7. Transfer of Vehicle Warranty
During the warranty period, if there is a change in vehicle ownership, the new owner shall inherit all remaining warranty conditions of the vehicle. The Customer must notify Dat Bike through one of the official Customer Service channels to confirm the transfer of warranty registration information. The remaining warranty period shall be transferred to the new owner.

3. Receiving Periodic Maintenance Service
Customers may contact the hotline to schedule an appointment for the best support.
If there is no store in the Customer’s area of vehicle use, the Customer should contact the Customer Service department for support.
