I. Scope of Application

This payment policy applies to all transactions occurring between customers and Dat Bike (at Dat Bike's authorized stores, through the website www.dat.bike, or through Dat Bike's official Facebook page), including but not limited to: purchasing bikes, purchasing spare parts, accessories, payment transactions for repair costs, maintenance, etc.

For products purchased from Dat Bike's authorized dealers, customers please contact the dealer where the bike was purchased for detailed information on the current payment policies.

II. Supported Payment Methods

Dat Bike offers customers a variety of payment methods, with the aim of allowing customers to freely choose the most suitable payment method for themselves.

Customers can choose and combine the following payment methods without limitation:

  • Cash
  • Bank transfer
  • E-wallets: Momo, ZaloPay, ShopeePay, Viettel Money
  • International payment cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Union Pay, American Express)
  • Domestic payment cards (Napas) issued by 40 banks
  • 0% interest installment payments through credit cards issued by 32 banks
  • 0% interest installment payments through financial companies - no credit card required

2.3. Card Payment (One-time)

The card payment method (one-time) can be used when customers make purchases on the dat.bike website, buy directly from Dat Bike stores, or through a payment link provided by Dat Bike staff.

This payment method supports all international payment cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, UnionPay) and domestic payment cards (Napas) issued in Vietnam and abroad.

2.4. Card Payment (Installment)

The card payment method (installment) can be used when customers make purchases on the dat.bike website, buy directly from Dat Bike stores, or through a payment link provided by Dat Bike staff.

When using this payment method, in addition to the order value, customers will need to pay an installment conversion fee according to the regulations of the issuing bank (this fee will be added directly to the order value and evenly distributed over each month of the chosen installment period). This applies to credit card holders issued in Vietnam by the following 28 banks:


Note: For customers opting for installment payments with HSBC credit cards, Dat Bike will cover the installment conversion fee (promotion valid until December 31, 2023).

II. Payment Process

1. Payment for Vehicle Purchase

For vehicle purchases, customers have two payment options:

a) Make a deposit of 1,000,000 VND, then pay the remaining amount within 7 - 10 days before receiving the vehicle. For customers with a deposit order, Dat Bike will send a payment request and contact the customer to assist in completing the payment before delivery.

b) Pay the full value of the vehicle purchase in one installment (without making a deposit).

Please note:

  • Dat Bike supports customers in combining multiple payment methods for a single order. However, the process of splitting the payment needs to be manually done by Dat Bike. In the case of online shopping on the dat.bike website or receiving a payment request link from Dat Bike but the customer wants to split the payment into multiple parts, please inform Dat Bike through one of the official customer support channels for assistance.
  • If the customer changes their mind about the purchase after making a deposit or paying the full value of the order, the deposit amount will not be refunded.


2. Payment for Spare Parts, Accessories, or Service Fees

For orders of spare parts, accessories, or payment of various service fees such as repairs, maintenance, and transportation, customers need to pay the full value of the order in one installment before Dat Bike proceeds with delivery (for spare parts, accessories) or hands the vehicle back to the customer after maintenance or repairs.

Customers can use various different methods to pay for orders of spare parts, accessories, or service fees. If this feature is needed, customers should inform Dat Bike's customer support team to receive assistance during the payment process.

III. Notes and Disclaimer of Liability

1. Notes on Payment for Returns

  • In the event that a customer makes a payment through the payment gateway on the website, through a POS machine at Dat Bike's stores, or pays in installments through a credit card/financial company, if there is a need for a refund when returning the vehicle, the customer must reimburse Dat Bike for any related payment expenses that Dat Bike has assisted with. This includes, but is not limited to: payment processing fees, installment conversion fees, and installment interest that Dat Bike has assisted the customer with.
  • After receiving back these full amounts, Dat Bike will proceed to refund the vehicle payment to the customer. Information about the method and time of refund will be communicated by Dat Bike to the customer when there is a return case through one of the official customer support channels.
  • Furthermore, if the decision to return the vehicle leads to the early settlement of the installment contract, the customer must fulfill the obligations related to the installment purchase agreement that was agreed upon with the financial company or bank where the customer's credit card was issued. Dat Bike will not be involved and will not assume any responsibility regarding the installment purchase of the vehicle between the bank/financial company and the customer.


2. Disclaimer of Liability

  • In the event of any issues arising regarding the installment purchase of the vehicle, the customer must inform Dat Bike within 30 days from the date of the installment transaction with Dat Bike. After this period, Dat Bike will not be responsible for any issues arising from the customer's vehicle installment, including, but not limited to: compensation responsibilities, damage compensation, etc.
  • When the customer informs Dat Bike about issues related to the installment transaction within the specified time frame, Dat Bike will receive and review these arising issues. In cases where the issues arise from a portion or the entirety of Dat Bike's error, Dat Bike will handle the arising issue within the corresponding scope of its error. At this time, the customer must provide Dat Bike with all necessary information and documents related to the installment transaction when requested. Dat Bike will not be responsible for any other arising issues due to the customer's delay in providing information or documents as requested. To avoid misunderstanding, Dat Bike will only address issues that have arisen up until the time the customer reports them within the specified notification period, which are due to a portion or the entirety of Dat Bike's error.
  • In cases where issues arising from the installment transaction do not originate from a portion or the entirety of Dat Bike's error, Dat Bike will be completely exempt from any responsibility related to the customer's installment.
  • When the customer chooses the installment payment method to pay for products and/or services provided by Dat Bike, the terms of the above-mentioned liability exemption will naturally apply.
